STEPS to open Docs-

  1. Open Google Crome
  2. Make sure you have Google Home Page in your browser
    • Read the Article if your browser does not have Google Home Page – CLICK HERE
  3. Click on Google Apps
  4. Click on the Docs
  5. Now Google Docs will open
  6. Click on the ➕ icon to create a New file

Important Points to Learn

  • Default file name: “Untitled Document”
  • Paint format: The Paint format tool in Google documents lets you copy the formatting you have applied to a specific section of text to another section.
    • To copy formatting, we use – Ctrl+Alt+C
    • To Paste formatting, we use – Ctrl+Alt+V
  • File Download formatting:
    • ▪ .docx ▪ .odt (open document text file) ▪ .rtf (rich text format) ▪ .pdf ▪ .txt (Plain text) ▪ .html (web page) ▪ .epub (EPUB publication)
