About Kerala SET Exam

Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) is a state-level exam conducted by the LBS Centre of Science and Technology. It aims to determine the eligibility of candidates for recruitment as higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers within the Kerala state.

LBS Center of Science and Technology is an organization in Kerala that is responsible for conducting the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) exam. SET is a state-level eligibility test for candidates aspiring to become assistant professors in universities and colleges in the state of Kerala. Kerala SET Exam Pattern

The written test in the Kerala SET exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 2 is for specialized subjects, which means candidates can select a subject in which they have an interest and want to become teachers of a particular subject.

The total number of questions is 240 and the total time duration including both papers is 4 hours(240 minutes). Negative marking is not applicable and there will be only 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each except for Statistics and Mathematics. The details are given below.
