SBI JA 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring to appear for the SBI JA 2025 exam must meet the following criteria:
1. Nationality:
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee (migrated before January 1, 1962), or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries (e.g., Pakistan, Sri Lanka) and holds eligibility certificates issued by the Government of India.
2. Age Limit (as on April 1, 2024):
- Minimum Age: 20 years. Maximum Age: 28 years.
- Candidates must have been born between April 2, 1996 and April 1, 2004 (both days inclusive)

- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Final-year/semester students may also apply provisionally, provided they can submit proof of passing the graduation exam on or before April 30, 2025.
- Candidates with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, Medical, Engineering, etc., are also eligible.
4. Local Language Proficiency:
- Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of the state/UT they are applying for.
- Those who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate showing that they have studied the specified local language will not be required to take the language proficiency test.
- Candidates who do not have proof of having studied the local language will have to qualify in a language proficiency test, which will be conducted after the Main Examination and before joining.
