Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s / Doctorate Degree in prescribed Food Technology/Agriculture/Science-related disciplines such as:
Food Engineering, Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine etc.
OR prescribed medical qualifications such as MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BUMS / BAMS / Siddha / Ayurveda from a recognized institution, as specified in the notification.
Special qualification: Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matric OR Hindi as a subject in Higher Education. food & safety
Food Authority Training: Required after appointment; not a pre-application qualification.
Experience: None mandatory
Age limit and relaxation: Age Limit: 18–42 years
Age as on: 19 October 2026
Main relaxations:
- SC of Haryana: 5 years
- Backward Classes of Haryana: 5 years
- PwBD: 5 years + category relaxation where applicable, subject to maximum prescribed limit
- Widow / Divorced / Judicially Separated / Unmarried Women: 5 years
- Eligible Ex-Servicemen: As per Haryana rules
- Eligible Haryana Govt./Board/Corporation etc. employees: Service-based relaxation as prescribed
Maximum age after relaxation: Generally not above 52 years, except Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
Nationality: Indian
