NIT Calicut Apprentice Recruitment 2026–27

The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) has released an official notification for the engagement of 30 Apprentice Trainees under the Graduate and Technician (Diploma) categories for the year 2026–27. The recruitment is being conducted through the Centre for Continuing Education and Skill Development (CCESD) under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Eligible candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or a relevant Diploma can apply online. Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training and receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,500 to ₹15,000. The last date to submit the online application is 21 October 2026.

Selection Process
The selection of NIT Calicut Graduate and Diploma Apprentice Trainees 2026–27 will be carried out through scrutiny of online applications and shortlisting based on the information submitted by candidates. Shortlisted applicants may be called for document verification, a written test and/or an interview, as decided by NIT Calicut. Candidates must produce their original supporting documents when required. Information regarding further selection stages will be communicated through email only.
Actual duties / job description
Graduate Apprentice: Selected candidates will undergo one year of practical apprenticeship training in their respective fields, including Library and Information Science, Hotel Management, Nursing or General Administration.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Selected candidates will receive practical training in their relevant technical disciplines, such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Commercial Practice.
